Altadena Meals on Wheels is dedicated to making a difference in the community by providing meals to those in need. We are committed to ensuring that no one goes hungry and that everyone has access to nutritious food. Our organization is driven by a passion for helping others and making a positive impact on the lives of individuals and families.

• Altadena Meals on Wheels has operated as a private, non-profit, 501 (c)(3) community service organization since 1973.

 

• Altadena Meals on Wheels does not receive financial support from the federal or state government and relies solely on the generosity of individuals, businesses and philanthropic foundations who generously contribute to make our work possible to serve hot meals every year.

 

•  Altadena Meals on Wheels is an all-volunteer organization, does not pay any salaries, and as such, can 
  keep our operational expenses extremely low.

 

• The Altadena Senior Center provides the use of a kitchen for the packaging of the meals that are delivered to senior citizens and other individuals in need.

 

• Every donation, regardless of amount, helps bridge the gap between client service fees and the actual 
  cost of meals. Altadena Meals on Wheels and the senior citizens who benefit – appreciate your 
  generosity!
