Why Did You Choose to Serve on the Board of Directors? Since the Eaton Firestorm destroyed my hometown of Altadena, I felt compelled to give back my time to what was left of the community I love and grew up in. My family history goes back to 1917; my grandmother lived on Palmeto St. in Pasadena, the Mexican community of that era! My mother was born in Pasadena, and I was raised in Altadena from 1962.

What Experience and Passion Do You Bring to AMOW? Affiliated with the Pasadena NAACP, Mayfield Senior School Alum, Several museums in San Francisco Bay Area after graduating from Mills College, Active as a graduate student studying for MA and Museum studies majors completed, MBA/J.F.K University & museum administration MA/San Francisco State University

Hobbies & Interests: Jazz enthusiast, staunch supporter of adults with autisum and programs relating to women's and children's support.
